Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

So, I know I've been submitting a lot of art, but hey, I have so many ideas and finally have some inspiration to do somethings, not to mention a scanner now, so I will keep sharing with you, and you can delete it if you don't like, okay?

For the past couple of days, I have wanted to draw, but just couldn't seem to create images from my mind to my paper, until last night, which is actually thanks to a close friend coming on line for just a few minutes.

So, I did this, and two more Fairies, which will be coming soon!

This is the Sugar Plum Fairy's dance! I went all over the Internet to find what people usually did for the Sugar Plum Fairy as far as design, cause I pictured a fairy with plums all over her dress, and wasn't too thrilled with the idea, and found ballerinas and such in white, pink, blue and gold, but I didn't want to do what others had done...so, this idea was born!

I decided to do her as a Christmas Fairy, with red, gold and green, but added sparkles to her dress to make it look like sugar had been sprinkled over it. I hope you guys enjoy!

This is not part of the Christmas Song Project, so you know.

Also, her design is original, but I did have a reference for her pose, unfortunately, because of the size of my paper, the scanner cut if most of her foot, so you can't tell she standing on her toes.
