100Mixed- Blood

Hm...Well this one definitely took a different turn that I planned...but I LOVE the result!

So, this is the Theme Blood, for which I was going to do something COMPLETELY different and much lighter, but I started to draw and well...this is what showed up!

 So,  explanation:

This features MegiInkdragon's OC, Echidna, and my OC, Phantom.

Echidna was a normal girl set in a futuristic world on Earth, but she was the victim of an insane scientist, who experimented on her and created a human-vampire hybrid. She started to crave blood and hated every moment! Through LONG adventures and much longer explanations, a being came into her life, calling himself "Phantom" (his race has no real names), who was ancient, powerful and ethereal. He never really told her why he came to her exactly (his reasons are complicated), but vowed that he would protect her and a connection formed between them and linked their souls to each other. 

Phantom always knows when she in trouble and is often a source of comfort for her, whether it's just in his presence, or by words of advice, he remains loyal to her. 

Later, Echidna managed to find a decent cure for her blood cravings, and she lived happily for a while. But again she was a victim of villainy and was made a full vampire. We haven't really gotten into that adventure much, but I can say that no matter what her sufferings, Phantom will stay by her, comfort her and help her. 

This picture is different because Phantom has never really shown affection through touch or hugs, but when I drew it, and I knew that even if he never held her outwardly, inwardly this is how he feels. Their bond is stronger then blood.


And....I hope that makes sense....it's rather more than that, but I won't bore you any further!

I thought the picture frame look was a nice touch, showing their true bond forever, and the blood-red colors added to the theme I think. So enjoy...or don't!
