"When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid."

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson

I have always enjoyed art, in almost any form, so I strive to see all art to the fullest it can be! Thus, I try to love people, God's greatest art of all! I just hope that I can always see the beauty, even when it might be flawed, for I would want the same from those who see me!

Once Again, it's Time...

...To move...

Alas, it seems that it's always during the start of the cold season, and just before the holidays (so I never have any money), when I have to move to a new place...

My older sisters and I just put in our 30 Days Notice, and that gives us one month to pack, find places to live and move! And with students snatching up all the cheap places, it's always a struggle to find a nice place, without hurting your budget.

So, I thought I'd let you all know, that there is a possibility that I may not be on much this month, and maybe even through October (depends on how much getting internet costs), so if you don't hear from me much (whatever, I'm NEVER on anyway), than know that I didn't die!

What with packing, and going out to find apartments, and also working long hours and unusual shifts, this could be one hectic time for me, so I'm going to apologize now for my absence and for any lack of support or concern I show concerning anyone else. I DO care, believe me, I just won't be on much. And things could change...I may find a place quickly, get packed easily and still have time to get on and chat before I move. I may also get internet up soon and all will go well and smoothly (haha, yeah right!? Smoothly for ME, seriously?!) but I'm giving you all the heads up now so you don't wonder later!

So, with that said, I want to wish you all some amazing last days of Summer, have a great time in school or in your jobs (assuming you aren't in school anymore) and happy autumn to come! Good luck to you all, and remember that I will be thinking of dA, even in my absence! Thank you!

Until the Next Time!

you are most kind
what would you like to know?
most of the stuff I learned from youtube and blogs, rest is a result of experimenting. it takes more patience than any real skill once you get a hold of basics. one real tip I have is read the descriptions under cakes - many people (including me) write what they're made of. and it's so much easier to google it with name like 'fondant' than 'that white stuff that goes on wedding cake' ;P

Thanks for the tips! That does help already! I'd like to know where to get fondants and all of the tiny little things people use on cakes. I know some people use candy and such, but where do you get the supplies, like the silver and gold fondant/frostings, etc. Does that make sense?
