"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live." -Albus Dumbledore

"When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid."

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson

I have always enjoyed art, in almost any form, so I strive to see all art to the fullest it can be! Thus, I try to love people, God's greatest art of all! I just hope that I can always see the beauty, even when it might be flawed, for I would want the same from those who see me!
Interests
Well Watchers, at last an update, if you can consider this really an update...

So, I'm moved now and in my own place. It's been nice in many ways, though my bills have gone up and so it's very mixed right now. It wouldn't be so bad if the Holiday season weren't upon us, and the weather wasn't changing. On Sunday, we got our first snow, and I discovered my tires SUCK! But I can't do anything about it right now, so I'm gonna have to be careful. Still, I am excited for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays which will soon be here! YAY! :w00t:

Also, I've been working on art non-stop for a couple of weeks, and have quite a build-up of it to submit, but alas, due to me having no internet and having to use the Library Computers, I can't submit any art....*sigh* They won't allow any art to be saved to the computer and my jump-drive won't bring up the art because of their set-up. Plus I only get an hour on, so updating things is next to impossible at the moment...

But I do have art done, including a much belated Birthday picture for MegiInkdragon (her Birthday was on the 10th of Oct) and some more for the 100 Mixed Themes...but I guess you guys are just gonna have to wait and get it all at once. It's sad though, because I also have some Halloween pictures in the mix. Perhaps, if time allows (my work schedule has changed AGAIN), than I can pop on my family's Comp and submit some art. However, their system is slow...so we'll see.

Anyway, I have to get off now, my time is at an end and I still have to go Vote and head to work for a Mandatory Meeting. Still, I hope you all are doing well, and had an awesome Halloween! I did (I'll submit pictures for that later as well on MagikPaintbrush). If I don't update before the end of the month, have an amazing and thankful Thanksgiving also! Love ya all!

Until the next time! :pumpkin:

you are most kind
what would you like to know?
most of the stuff I learned from youtube and blogs, rest is a result of experimenting. it takes more patience than any real skill once you get a hold of basics. one real tip I have is read the descriptions under cakes - many people (including me) write what they're made of. and it's so much easier to google it with name like 'fondant' than 'that white stuff that goes on wedding cake' ;P

Thanks for the tips! That does help already! I'd like to know where to get fondants and all of the tiny little things people use on cakes. I know some people use candy and such, but where do you get the supplies, like the silver and gold fondant/frostings, etc. Does that make sense?
